The cart is rated at 400 pounds max. I would recommend a
similir load range. It is a "Srs raftman"as one could tell from the
red color.it was made in china. The first one cost me over $70 with tax, which
sort of pissed me off. But a week later they were on sale for $50 so i bought
two more. They were knocked down in a box, assembly was required. The batteries
are going to be the heaviest item and placed in the bottom keeps the center of
gravity low. It is difficult but not impossible to tip over. 2x4's were cut to
provide spacers and mounting platforms for the various components. Holes were
drilled in the cart sides to secure the wood. The top shelf has center hole in
it to allow wires through to the bottom. Doing so voids your cart's warranty! I
am completely satisfied with the cart's constuction and design.Wood is cheap and
easily worked. Resists corrosion and easily replacable. And is a dielectric at
the cart's working values values.Although i put the cart out in cloudy weather I
listen to the near term forcast. This construction is not intended to be left
outin rain, sleet or snow nor be hosed down with water or put in the range of a
lawn sprinkler. It is rated for dry conditions. One must use common safety
practices around electricity at all times. Keep children and pets away. Do not
leave unattended for more than 30 minutes. I constantly check voltage across
batery terminals.
