Since i had five panels, i bought five batteries. But after using the system here once or twice I realized i needed more load capacity. This system pictured is rated at 32 amp hours @ 20 hours. Absorbed glass matt lead acid batteries are true sealed bateries. they have sealed vents, no adding water and they are leak proof. Notice load disconnect switch next to battery. This isolates the regulator from the battery. The solar panel also has a load disconnect going into the regulator. Notice the pillar with "1st' on it. This switch is turned on first. Then the switch for the solar panel is activated (which is marked "2nd"). A safety feature.The cart is on level surface and inclines should be avoided. The wheels have locks on them but inclines require chocks.
